Getting a few more people posting
« on: March 09, 2012, 21:43:00 PM »
We get an awful lot of visitors to this forum, but hardly any of them post, the forum is actually quite busy but you would not know it from the number of posts, any ideas on how to get more people out of the woodwork and posting on here?

I am going to mail out to people telling them about the forum (reminding people) and ask them to post something.  Lets see what happens.

Anyone any other ideas, places to mention this etc?

I did think of writing an article in the newsletter giving a summary of the topics being discussed and questions asked on here. I thought that would help bring a few people together in here to chat.

Hi David

Maybe a link at the top of the main page for http://www.accordionclub.co.uk/ would be better than the present one which is well down a very long page.

I am going to put a drop down menu at the top of the page, I have it as a long page for SEO purposes and it works quite well but as you say it is a long way down to find the forum.

People are coming here, and reading the posts, we get lots of people visiting, but less than 1% post anything, they all read and only the few post something.
